Rocker-T New EP "Still Burn Da Weed"

Oakland, California – Showcasing his lyrical and vocal mastery, Rocker-T continues an epic musical journey with his third installment from “The Hurban Warrior of Peace,” another five song EP entitled “Still Burn Da Weed.” Whetting listeners appetites with the powerful EP “From Brooklyn to Oakland,” in December of 2012, Rocker-T then released “The Hurban Warrior of Peace: Part Roots” in June 2013 to much acclaim. “Still Burn Da Weed” is an appetizer for the upcoming second half of Rocker-T’s grand musical offering which is entitled “The Hurban Warrior of Peace: Part Konkrete.” The EP features more of Rocker-T’s talented friends including Jamalski, Cutty Ranks, Mykah Montgomery, Dvir Cohen, Seasunz, Ras Ceylon, Sinista Z, JC Stokes and Mama Wisdom,and producers DJ Prophecy, G2, DSB,and Roommate Justin.
To start this EP, Rocker-T collaborates with one his favorite and strongest lyrical associates. Dancehall legend Cutty Ranks appears bringing the high heat to the heads of state and the municipal leaders, while encouraging the people to be more progressive in their daily approach on the jump-up smash “Babylon Ya System Burn Up.” The title song “Still Burn Da Weed” produced by DJ Prophecy will be a crowd favorite among fans who also know Rocker-T as “The Tru Ganjaman.” “Real Ghetto Warrior” introduces Rocker-Ts audience to the angelic voice of Mykah Montgomery, who brings the necessary vibrations to deliver the message of luv and light in the struggle. From Brooklyn to the Bay Area to the Middle East, “Living God” will light a new fire of consciousness in the minds and hearts of the raggamuffin youths, and “Werd Up Baum Bhang,” produced by Bay Area Super-DJ Roommate Justin features some of the hottest lyricists today in JC Stokes of Mighty Dub Killers and Mama Wisdom of Goddess Alchemy Project and highlights the return of Rocker-Ts longest running sparring partner, one of the greatest MCs ever, Jamalski. “Still Burn Da Weed” is a perfect blend of Dancehall and Reggae music and Hip Hop lyrically, topically and rhythmically.
Nine years in the making, “The Hurban Warrior of Peace” project is a songwriting and production collaboration that embodies Rocker-T’s diverse musical experiences, knowledge and tastes. Featuring close personal friends and family from every era of Rocker-T's career, it is indicative of his musical objectives. “I am an hurban warrior of peace, a product of the city environment who sees the small green branch pushing through the cement and cries for Mother Earth. The magical plant music is the healing of the nations. I can fight without fighting,” Rocker-T explains.
